Python… In the Real World.

You’re surfing the web for a new job; you encounter countless job portals, numerous postings, and mass applications. And as you arduously scour the job post mountain, looking for what will ultimately be your future, you end missing your dream jobs. Imagine a new web page that consolidates job postings that are specific to you!
Python can be one of those tools.

Alright, a new scenario. We all have been using mobile GPS services: Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze, Uber… you name it. As we use the service, our current locations and speeds save to a central server for managing traffic. This data builds a map of the current traffic. While this helps in preventing the traffic and does congestion analysis, the underlying problem is that there is a lesser number of cars that are equipped with GPS. Machine learning in such scenarios helps estimate regions where congestion can be found based on daily experiences.
Python can be one of these tools.

The point for these scenarios is to illustrate how Python can be used almost anywhere. These are possibilities of how your student can apply their Python skills.

Python has a wide array of applications. It has a great open source community and well a lot of things to use with. Lets look at how some companies use Python. You might have heard of some of these:
Instagram, Google, Spotify, Netflix, Youtube, Uber, DropBox, Pinterest, InstaCart, Lyft, Reddit, Quora, IBM, NASA
Here is what the world’s largest companies are saying about Python!
